Japanese Gardens and Chinese Gardens (Jurong Lake Gardens)

Nicely revamped and recently reopened, just in time for mid-autumn festival activities around Jurong Lake Gardens. Very picturesque, great for photos. However, a lot of plants were very young so some places did look a bit bare, and the rain was barely absorbed by the soil so it got a bit messy. There is also a pet friendly cafe at the Chinese Gardens side. Most common way to reach there is via the bridge from Chinese Gardens MRT, but there is also a bridge from beside the Science Centre which leads directly into the Japanese Gardens.
