Various pet friendly cafes around, many are quite well known especially Plain Meredith (reviewed separately). Downside is that it is a fully non-air conditioned mall, so the floors do get quite wet when it rains and splashes on the inside. It is technically stroller/wheelchair friendly but definitely not intuitive paths as the ramps are located at the sides or behind the mall, with sharp turns trying to locate them. Be prepared to make huge detours just to reach the ramps, and sometimes these ramps are not sheltered. Shelters are quite narrow and unintuitive, some may think there is only one entrance to certain shops that are not sheltered, but SOME shops have two entrances, in which the back entrance is sheltered. Only one lift is pet friendly, and might have quite long waiting time if crowded. Pets are allowed to walk on the floors when leashed, and there is one water drinking point for pets at L1.
However, a lot of eateries still do not accept pets. Some of which that do, only have extremely limited seating areas (1 to 2 tables) outside the restaurant. It is not very different from a regular cookie-cutter mall in terms of shop variety, pretty similar to a more upscale neighbourhood mall. Hence, I feel it is not worth travelling all the way to the mall unless you live nearby or want to check out a particular pet friendly cafe. It was however, an amazing experience to get to bring my cat to Watsons and Guardian.
